Booking confirmations

A reservation confirmed over SMS from the venue's own number builds trust before the customer even arrives. Cancellations and changes reply to the same number, routing directly into the booking system without manual monitoring.

SMS · OUTBOUND
Your table at Ember is confirmed for Sat 7pm, party of 4. Reply X to cancel.
✓ Sent

A restaurant, salon, or hotel already has a front-desk phone. Customers may have called it to make a booking. Relayion connects that number to your reservation system so confirmation messages go out automatically at booking time, from a number the customer can call back if plans change.

When a reservation is created, your system sends an outbound message with the guest's number, the confirmation text, and a cancel instruction. The guest receives the message from the venue's own number. If they reply X to cancel, your webhook fires, your system updates the booking record, and a cancellation confirmation goes back out automatically.

The same flow handles pre-arrival reminders. Send a reminder 24 hours before with a confirm or cancel instruction. Guests who confirm update the record. Guests who cancel free the slot in time for it to be offered to someone else. All of this happens without staff manually monitoring a phone or inbox.

The pattern applies across any business that takes reservations: clinics, car workshops, beauty salons, short-stay rentals, private dining. If the business has a phone number and a booking system, Relayion connects them.
